The Building
Inspector has the power to:
-
Review building
plans and specifications, make Electrical,
Plumbing and Mechanical Code inspections;
-
Inspect and
report on all buildings within the City;
-
Perform
inspections for unsafe or unsanitary
conditions, fire hazards and dilapidated
buildings in the City;
-
Enforce the:
International Building and Residential
Codes; International Plumbing Code;
International Electrical Code; International
Mechanical Code; International Fire Code;
International Property Maintenance Code; and
the most recent version of the Fuel Gas Code
as published by the International Code
Council.
